Activity Monitor use

My activity monitor is showing the following two items, AddressBookSourceSync and CalendarAgent, using 75% to 85% of my resources. What are these and what are they doing? There is a third call Mingle that is also using a large amount of resources. Is all of this normal?

    Not likely unless the usage is just when the process is active. But if that's continuous then those processes may have crashed or have corrupted files in use.


    Select each process. Click on the Quit icon in the AM toolbar. Click on the Force Quit button. If the processes restart see if their CPU usage has dropped. If not, then you want to look for a possibly corrupted cache file or folder either in the /Home/Library/ or /Library/ folder. If you find one put it in the Trash, but do not empty the Trash. Then restart the computer. Open AM to see if the processes are now behaving.

    OK, I found a possible solution:



    ~/Library/Application Support/SyncServices/Local and I backed it up and deleted it rebooted and everything is better.
