I have windows 7 on my pc and downloaded the itunes 11 upgrade which by the way is absolutely horrible.   It was working fine and I figured out how the navigate it but last week I turned on the computer and went to itunes and all my playlists were gone.  I was able to view most of the songs but almost every title is now prefaced with a number so sorting by title is now worthless since there are multiple titles with the same number prefix.  The albums titles that the songs came from were also changed or removed.  How did this happen?  I think I would like to uninstall itunes but how do can I be sure all files including libraries are also deleted?  And if there is an alternative to itunes that will allow me to load playlists to my ipod, I would love to know what it is.  I am totally fed up with apple and itunes.  This is very frustrating and I do not want to reinstall itunes if I can use another product. Thanks to anyone who can guide me.
