No. AFAIK, you can copy them from a Lion installation and see if they'll work w/SL. Put them into /System/Library/Speech/Voices/ and ensure that they have the same permissions. I don't use them, so don't know if that'll work.27" i7 iMac 10.6.8, OS X Mountain Lion, G4 450 MP w/Leopard, 9.2.2

I recently copied the whole speech folder from ML.3 to SL.8. I added myself to the permissions list. I may have inadvertently taken ownership. Maybe should only have copied the voices folder or something.
Anyway, after copying, I rebooted and went straight to the Speech prefs to try them out. I clicked on Samantha (one of a few of the selected female voices I dl'd in ML.3) and was greeted with my error sound and the name disappearing. It also set the voice speed to near max. I closed and reopened the prefs and all the voices were back, but still the same results.
I'm not 100% on this since it seems quite experimental and SL.8 doesn't appear to have a proper engine and native support for these voices, but should I relinquish ownership and share r/w with the system and try a new copying?
Has anyone done this with success?
