Feb 22, 2013 9:29 AM in response to Raziel1by sandman1318,I'm having the same problem with my 4S and none of the suggestions worked for me. But I want to add something that I don't think anyone else mentioned. When I go into iCloud>storage & backup>manage storage and tap on "iPhone," it doesn't display my large list of apps with the option to turn any of them off. Under Documents and Data it lists just three of them but nothing else. But in the area where the list normally appears, one of those swirly things just spins and spins endlessly. In following one of the suggestions in this thread, I deleted my last backup on the iPhone. Would this cause the apps not to be listed? Also, my phone is jailbroken. Could this have something to do with iCloud not backing up? I'm thinking of restoring just to see if that fixes it. But I'm hoping I don't have to do that. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Feb 22, 2013 4:40 PM in response to sandman1318by sandman1318,UPDATE: The problem on my iPhone definitely had something to do with the jailbreak. I restored my phone and now the iCloud backup works like a charm.

Feb 24, 2013 8:32 AM in response to richpharmby Mats Jidaker,Hi richpharm,
I was reading you iCloud sync fix
hi!
I've solved it!
0. Plug iphone to USB
1. Turn off in iTunes "backup to iCloud" by choosing "backup to this computer"
2. Sync
3. Go to iCloud and delete all previous backups.
4. Turn on in iTunes "backup to iCloud".
5. In iPhone click backup to iCloud
after few minutes it was done!
Cheers
But where and how do you delete step #3."Go to iCloud and delete all previous backups."?
Thanks!

Mar 1, 2013 8:12 PM in response to sandman1318by Changyang1230,If the iCloud backup issue happened to you in the setting of having a jailbroken iOS device and only started developing in February 2013, then it's possibly due to the interference caused by a cydia package PKGBackup (if you have it installed, that is).
To quote a solution from this page:
1. Uninstall PkgBackup
2. reboot phone (not respring)
3. Reinstall PKG
4. Launch PKG (you can let it analyze) then press home.
5. go to settings..try the iCloud backup and it should work. PKG will work as well.
Worked like a charm for me.

Mar 7, 2013 4:42 AM in response to richpharmby ajohns41,This worked for me, AND it solved the sync issue I was having where my iPhone was stuck on "Waiting for changes to be applied..." So, for anyone having either issue, set your backups to computer instead of iCloud, and then sync.
Thanks, richpharm!

Apr 12, 2013 5:17 AM in response to Krg5272by petroupoli,@Krg5272Worked for me, even though after deleting it from location 1 nothing was visible in location 2.
Therefore, just deleting the backup (which then turned iCloud back up off) did the trick for both mine and my wife's iPhone 5. Thanks.
