Hi everyone. I'm thinking about upgrading to Mountain Lion soon. I'm currently running 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) on a Macbook (2011 model.) I have upgraded to 8gb of RAM so I think I'm okay if ML is a RAM hog.

I've backed up everything that is important to me on an external harddrive. I've checked and I've found that I run no PowerPC programs.

My only concern is this: when I upgrade, will every program I have (Microsoft Word, Itunes, Google Crome, Steam, Spotify, World of Warcraft, etc.) upgrade to their latest version that runs on Mountain Lion? Or do I have to update them manually?

Also, is there any significant changes in ML that I should be wary of? I've heard that the "save as.." option was replaced, but that can be changed. Is there anything along the lines of folder organization/desktop organization that I should be concerned about?
