For the love of God someone please help me! I had several videos imported to iMovie and edited to a 22 minute project. My external hard drive was getting full so I deleted the original files thinking they were  obsolete since they were now imported to my iMovie Event. I even checked to make sure they were there, that when I clicked "Reveal in Finder" it would take me to the files in the Event folder, I tested one small clip by trashing it and emptying the trash and it still played fine. So I happily went along editing away with more free space. Well then after restarting my iMac all the thumbnails in this particular Event & Project (and only this one) are skewed slightly slimmer and just play a black screen. The thumbnails look like they're all there (though skewed slimmer) but turn gray  when the cursor is hovering over them. When I click "Reveal in Finder" it still takes me to the files and I can play them fine in Finder, but not in iMovie. There's no yellow triangle. It hasn't told me anything's wrong. It just thinks my project is a bunch of blank clips. What can I do to fix this???

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), iMovie '11, version 9.0.4
