Q: How do I read a ibook I purchased from iTunes?

I bought a book from the iTunes store from my laptop.

How do I read the book if I do not own a iOS device and never will?

The book is byDavid D. Burns, M.D.

Feeling Good - The new mood therapy.

I own Apple TV second generation.

Is there an app that I can install on my windows XP (sp3) laptop?

(HP Pavilion dv8040us)

Can Apple TV read the iBook?

Thank you.

No. It sounds like you already know that iBooks require an iOS device, so unfortunately, you will not be able to read that book.

I didn't know what an iOS was, so I Googled it.

There has to be a way to open an iBook to read it. How stupid is Apple to not have iTunes not open what it sells from the iTunes Store.

Thank you all for your quick reply.  I'll see if I can get my money back.
