After transferring a film from a VHS tape into FCP6, and halfwy through the editing, I found that the audio had  diminished in strength and I could hardly  hear it dewspiote applying maximum strength to itvia the FCP audio control.    I chose Modify and Audio then "Apply normalisation  . . . strength 5"  and found I'd got the buzz.  Turned it  back to original settings.    Audio still louder and with the buzz.   Can anyone explain what I should do to obtain normal audio stregth without this horrible buzz?   T.I.A.

1- Apply the "Gain" filter to increase low volume.

    2a- Apply the Hum Remover.

    OR

2b- Take it into STP and apply Noise Reduction.
