Hi Lawence. I use MS Excahnge for work (e-mails, Calendar's, etc), but want to have a separate personal calendar. It's this one that has stopped syncing. It won't load from my phone or to my phone, but only stopped a couple of weeks ago for no reason I can fathom.
First, try reinstalling iTunes. Sometimes Microsoft issues updates to its products that disable "foreign" plugins. Have you applied any Microsoft Office updates recently? If you reinstall iTunes it will also reinstall the Outlook plugin for iTunes.
In Outlook, check to see if the iTunes plugin has been blocked. I've forgotten where this information is stored (I switched to a Mac 2 years ago, and Outlook for Mac works differently), but I think it's in Help/About.
Finally, sometimes syncing can be broken by a corrupt data record in the contacts or calendar database. When the sync encounters a bad record it stops, and bad records tend to accumulate at the "top" of the database. The fix for this is to export the calendar to CSV format, then import it back into Outlook. Export will skip bad records. The export and import are on the File menu.
