Normally your computer will not recognize a connected phone like it recognizes an external hard drive, thumb drive or card reader. Start iTunes (iTunes 11.0.1) on your computer. Use the View menu in iTunes to View Sidebar. Ten connect your phone to the computer. Your phone should show up as an item in the left sidebar. Select your phone then use the tabs in the right window to accomplish what you want to do.

Like I mentioned in another similar thread, does the phone give any indication that the cable was plugged in? My i5 is my first iPhone so I can't speak for previous models, but when I plug it in any live USB port, be it a computer or a power source, it will do a characteristic beep to indicate that it has begun charging. And that also confirms that at least on the physical level a connection was established. And that at least that part of the cable is good.

yes it beeps and it charges on the pc. I tried many other cables, and other computers, also with new and old itunes versions. Itunes dont recognized it. On the computers just pops up that something is wrong on the usb port, like a flash drive that is broken. But as I said, i tried in many different computers.

That message you are getting is probably telling you that the USB driver is either missing or needs to be updated.
If you can see the phone when you go to Start>Devices and Printers on your PC, right click the phone icon and go for Troubleshoot. If its a USB driver problem it will tell you and may offer to update it.

Like I said, i tried it with other Computers, from friends what also have an iPhone, so they have the drivers. I also tested other devices on my pc and they worked fine. It's just my iphone that won't work, no matter what I do, or where I try it.

Sounds like a visit to an Apple store is in order. I suspect that your phone's dock connector is slightly faulty. Maybe a bent or damaged connector or even dirt stopping one of the contact points actually connecting.
You can try cleaning it CAREFULLY with something like a wooden toothpick, but I would visit the Apple Store and get them to look at it.
