Does the activation, or deactivation of filesharing have anything to do with this? Activating or deactivating it makes no difference right now, but I am still wondering. Which ports does Filescharing use?

Ok, now I am getting a different message, when trying to copy a file to the machine saying that the ARD Client is not active....
How do I activate it?
ARD Client 3.6.2. ist installed, Remote Management in System Preferences is active....

Ok, I solved the issue by installing ARD Manager on the remote machine. All is working now. But is that the right approach? I shouldn't have to install the manager in order to controll a client, should I?
