Well I might help you but reading your last line about hating the iphone and wanting a droid makes me not want to help you out now. Go ahead and get a droid then.

I think the best thing to do would be to use your computer and add the WAV file to your iTunes library and then sync the file to your phone using itunes

Thanks, but how do I do this?

There does not seem to be any way to move the

    Wav file from my email.

Open the email on the computer, save the attachment, transfer the file to the iTunes library, sync the phone to the library.

Perhaps I didn't explain. I only have email on the

iPhone and not on the pc.

The file is on the iPhone email.

You shouldn't have trouble forwarding the email to an account you can pick up on the computer. I am only aware of being able to save a pdf from an email, or a photo, not a wav file.

I don't have email on the computer.

    Let me begin again.

I don't have Internet, email or wifi on the computer.

I have an iPhone and I am trying to transfer a wav file that

I have in my email on my iphone to the computer. I have

A USB connection from the iPhone to the computer.

I can get the computer to recognize the iPhone as a camera, and it

Will transfer photos. But I don't know how to transfer any other

Kind of files on the iPhone to the computer such as an audio wav file.

    I hope this is clear.

However, your reply gave me an idea. If I can install iTunes on

My iPhone, maybe I can transfer the wav file that way...

So, how do install iTunes on my phone?

I don't see it in the App Store.

    Thank you!!!

You never said you did not have access to anything else on the computer. Sorry I suggested it.

The only way you can get the computer to recognize the iPhone in Explorer is with photos, nothing else. There is no way for you to transfer the wav file to the camera roll and import in that fashion, nor can you transfer that file to the computer.

You cannot install iTunes on the iPhone in the manner that you are describing. There is an iTunes app on the iPhone, however that is for you to access the iTunes store.

Your desire is crystal clear, however there is no way to accomplish what you are requesting. In your own words, "I hope this is clear."

Thank you for your answer, I guess I am disappointed, because this

Transfer would happen automatically with the droid.

You're welcome. This is one of the results of the secure system of the Apple iPhone. While it may "happen automatically with the droid", it also is the easiest way to open the device and the operating system to malicious code.
