I am not sure I completely understand what you are asking... The simple thing to do in pricing out each of those 4 parts is to check out ebay... Then add maybe a few hundred dollars to them and you willl get similar pricing from back in 2007 to 2008. A Quad G5 logic board today can be had from anywhere to 100 up to 350.00.. Back in 2007, it was probably around 5-600 dollars..
But, really I would check out ebay and do a search for G5 Quad or Power Mac G5 Quad.. as for the dual G5? Really, those were not even worth it, given their extreme LCS leaking problems, especially the 2004 Dual G5 2.5 which was notorious for leaking.
The Quad is by far the best you can get... and make sure you find one with the SINGLE PUMP as it was the most reliable made and still is. Those came out in the later half of 2006 from April until September of that year, while the dual pumps were in Late 2005 October.

Sorry if the question was unclear. My friend asked me to find out exactly those four prices back in the period from July 2007 to August 2008. So that means pretending we are living back during that one year period, and pretending we want to purchase each of those four type logic boards (Dual, used and new; Quad used and new).
A friend told me back then, a new Quad or Dual logic board from Apple would have been about $1,200 each.

$1200 is probably very close as I recall... ridiculous too.
I think used ones have finally gone down...

Is that $1200 the NEW or USED price in 2008 ? Is that for a Quad or Dual logic board in 2008 ?

Well, don't hold me on this, but I think $1,200 for the new Quad, $1,100 a new Dual board, & I'm not sure I saw any used boards in that timeframe.

By 2008, all Power Macs, including the G5 Quad, hadn't been manufactured for at least a couple of years. The last one was made in the summer of 2006, when Apple switched to Intel.
Therefore, you couldn't habe bought "a new logic board" during the time period you are specifying. There was simply no such thing back then.

HAHAHA... And now those logic boards are worth pennies today... I see G5 Quad logic boards go for 50-100 sometimes 120.00 on ebay.. as for the Dual 2.5's, those are under 50 themselves.
My have things changed since 2007-2008!

Remember that Apple Computer supplies NEW motherboards for computers covered under AppleCare, a three year warranty. Those boards are sent to and installed by Apple Authorized Service Dealers, and delivered within 48 hours of submitting a valid request through their repair network. Apple sets a price on these new boards.
Thus NEW logic boards should be available from Apple for at least three years after the date of sale of these two type of G5.
Do you disagree ?
Does anyone know the price of these two NEW logicboards from Apple back during the one year specified above ?
