Hello iPhone Users

I am new to the iPhone world.  I purchased an iPhone from a retailer 3 months ago, I got it fixed last month because of the lock screen problem and I only got it back last week, my problem is that when I got it back there's a dent on it, I am very careful with my phone specially it was only months old. I went back to the local shop and ask if they could do something about it and they said that they can't because it was already taken out of the shop. So is there anything that Apple can do about it? I was thinking of selling my phone then get a new one instead but I thought it will cost me alot.

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.3

Only is it was repaired by Apple.  Your post is a coutionary tale of being an educated and cautious consumer.

What I'm trying to ask is, will apple send me a refurbished one? I'm not asking for a new iphone, just another iphone with no dents this time or scrathes

Unlikely that Apple will do anything for you.

Once someone other than Apple opens the device, all rights to support and replacements from Apple are voided.

Who did you get it serviced by? If it was by someone other than either Apple or, if you're in a country where service is provided by the cell carrier, to that carrier - and if you took it to an unauthorized shop I wonder why you didn't get Apple to handle it - then as diesel said all further warranty and support from Apple has been voided.

If you sent the iPhone to Apple or an authorized iPhone service provider, call them and complain about getting back an iPhone that has been damaged.

    Regards.
