I want to buy a Macbook but I have to be sure that Windowsprograms run well on a Macbook. I have asked it three times in the apple-store Amsterdam but didn't recieve an answer.

There are several ways to run windows and programs for windows on a mac:

    1) Install Wine which provides a minimal environments in Mac OS X to run a windows program

    2) Install a virtualization program (like VirtualBox, VMWare Fusion, or Parallels), then install windows then all the programs.  Some of these have a way to migrate from an existing windows computer to a virtual windows machine

    3) Install BootCamp and dual boot your machine.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities

You should know that you can't use Windows applications in OS X unless you use an application like CrossOver. In this case, you will have to install Windows in the Mac.

On a Mac, you can install Windows on a virtual machine or with Boot Camp. Each one has got its pros and cons, and all of them are in this tip > https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3321

Some users say that Windows runs better on a Mac than on a PC. Note that Macs have got the same hardware as a PC, but it's true that Windows works really well on Macs with Boot Camp. If you install Windows with Boot Camp, you will get the maximum performance of Windows for your computer, so it's recommended if you are going to play games or use heavy applications. If you want more information about Boot Camp, see > http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp

There are different apps you can use to install Windows in a virtual machine, like Parallels, VMware Fusion or VirtualBox. VirtualBox is free, but the app that gets the maximum performance is Parallels Desktop
