If you used more than on set of headphones, it is unlikely to the the headphones. So what else can it be that both devices have in common, for this situation...?
What do mean by "volume fades"? Is the volume setting being turned down, so you can manually turn it back up again? Or is the level of sound going lower with no change to the volume setting, so you cannot turn it back up?
