Q: windows 7 loses cd/dvd when itunes installed

When I installed the latest version of itunes (the first time I ever did this I lost access and mapping to both my dvd drives. I uninstalled and both dvds came back. How to correct this so I do not have to constantly load and uninstall itues?

iPod touch, iOS 4.2

Hey ctemple1905,

If your computer's optical drive is no longer recognized when installing iTunes, I found this article that might help:
