I have a G5 and everythign runs just fine, only issue is the fans run at full speed all the time. I've checked and double-checked the door switch and it's fine, in fact, the fans slow down when I open it. The main culprit in the middle fan, above the metal divider and below the optical drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi, sadly you'll need to find ASD for that G5, & it isn't available to the public, but that's what is used to find the problem and/or fix it.

There are 3 different versions for G5s depending on model.

It may be that the first CPU is bad, it will sometimes run with a bad second CPU, but not with a bad first CPU, & yesswapping CPUs requires recalibration with ASD.

    BDAqua,

Do you still have the one I gave you? Provide it for him so he can resolve his issue..

Hi, it's not normally available to the public, & if anybody had any clues, they sure couldn't post them here.
