My Magic mouse sometimes loses the bluetooth 'connection' on my iMac.  The only way I can reconnect the blue tooth to my iMac to my Magic mouse is to open prefs. and I can't do that without a cursor!  Yes, I've replaced the batteries.

Luckily, I do have have a USB mouth that I can bring over to reconnect, but this should not be a pre-requisite if you want to get a Magic Mouse (or even a tablet) with your iMac.  Obviously, when you have no mouse control, it renders your desktop almost useless.

Any suggestions?
