Q: photobooth camera activition

Hi,

I just got a new MacBook Air. I'm trying to use Photobook and Facetime, but it says it can't detect a camera. How do I 'activate' a built in camera?

I'm a PC user btw, so I'm just getting used to this Mac stuff.

MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012), iOS 6.1.3

Morning sheenadas79,

If you suspect an issue with the MacBook Air hardware, you can use the Apple Hardware Test application to help determine if there's an issue with one of the computer's components
