this will not be an issue as you are erasing the HD and will be setting it up using Your Apple ID.

Also...

After the successful Re-install... Run Software Update to get the latest Updates for SL.

Install them One at a time... not all at once...

Be sure to Restart your computer when prompted and when All the Updates are complete.

It came with either 10.5.2 or 10.5.4, both of which are Leopard.
