Q: How to factory restore a 2008 Macbook OSX
I have a 2008 MacBook. I would like to erase the HD and restore the OSX from CDs that came with the MacBook. From videos I see about the Disk Utilities erasing the HD and then reinstalling Snow Leopard. I think I understand about doing that. The question I have is it going to ask me for the iTunes account and password that purchased the Snow Leopard? The issue I have is that I am a new user and this laptop was purchased used from a one owner and I don’t know the iTunes account and password that he used to purchase the OSX. I have the Snow Leopard CD and it is currently on the laptop running. I also have the original CDs that came with the laptop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

AnaMusic,
... Sorry for all the questions.
No problems.
Has the Previous owner Set the Mac up as New and Deleted ALL their Stuff of it...
They should have and if they haven't... You should.
