HT3798 My Ipod classic (160GB) has stopped playing music.

My Ipod Classic (160Gb) has stopped playing music, it just skips from 1 song to the next. Also I cannot view on photo's or films?

    I have the same issue, only happened since the last software update.  Have completed hard reset and reloaded my music still does it.?  Thoughts anyone?

    You (thelongs01) should first do a Reset, if you have not already



    This "reboots" the iPod.  It is not erased.


    If that does not help, you may want to do a Restore on the iPod in iTunes.  There may be data corruption on the iPod's storage.  The Restore button is on the iPod's Summary screen in iTunes. This will erase the iPod, re--install its software, and set it to default settings.  If there are no hardware issues, the erase will clear up any data issues.  You can then re-sync the iPod as before.
