Q: my iphone 4s lets me connect to my home wi-fi but then i get disconnected. my phone was fine until i updated the software to iOS 6.1.3 version

i ahve a iphone 4S and was working fine until the last software upgrade. i connect to my home wi-fi and it works fine for awhile then it disconnects me. never had this problem until that last software upgrade

    Hi Precious.eyez,

     

     

    I understand that you are having Wi-Fi connectivity issues. We have a great resource for troubleshooting these type of issues:

    • Try moving closer to the Wi-Fi router or base station to see if the Wi-Fi signal improves.

     

     

    • Remove your iOS device from any case, stand, or other attachment to see if the Wi-Fi signal improves.

     

    • Open Safari and try to load a webpage to see if the Wi-Fi signal improves.

     

     

    Alternatively, you may want to make sure your network does not have a common name:

     

    Avoid giving your wireless network a common name (SSID)
