May 6, 2013 1:26 PM in response to ablert.frankyby Skydiver119,Could your credit card be a debit card? iTunes does not accept debit cards (although it's been suggested that if you have one that's either debit or credit (a debit card that can be run as credit) then those will work.
Could you have typo'd a number? quite easy to do. Or mispelled your name?

May 6, 2013 1:40 PM in response to Skydiver119by ablert.franky,no I have the info all correct. When I created the account it accepted the information. Now it just wont make a purchase. It is a debit credit card. I've used it on my account before. I'm just trying to setup my son's itunes account and let him get a few apps.

it just says "your Purchase could not be completed" " for assistance, contact Itunes support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/"
Most intelligent people would follow the instructions and contact iTunes customer support instead of posting to a user to user technical support forum.

Jan 9, 2015 5:23 AM in response to EmT93by diesel vdub,As already stated, if an error message is displaying on the device, do exactly what it says.
If the message appearing is not the one in the original post, or there is no error message, then it is not the same issue discussed here.
