May 8, 2013 8:26 AM in response to spacegoogieby spacegoogie,Ok guys check this out. To add to the list of issues, I have my iphone and ipad mini charging with the supplied Apple charger and cables. I pick up my phone to use it as it was charging and there was a lot of touch screen lag, I did a reset and still lots of lag. Scrolling menus were not scrolling smoothly. Tried the ipad mini cable and same thing. Unplugged the cable all together everything is as smooth as can be. Can Anyone else confirm this? Please try plugging in your iPhone and scrolling for menus.

May 9, 2013 12:47 PM in response to ellbowby pkursk,After upgrading to 6.1.4 via USB, the physical lower volume button on my iPhone 5 seems to have stopped working except for intermittent spurts of being able to work. I don't recall anything physical (drop, hit, etc) that would have caused it. Been in a case essentially the whole time. Odd and annoying. Anyone else have this problem?

May 10, 2013 1:14 PM in response to ellbowby justajrny,I have a new issue from the upgrade. Did upgrade last night. Today I've had two instances where the beginning of an old text message was merged with the ending of a newly sent message. The recipient did not receive my original message, but rather one message with the combined old/new text. This happened twice with the same recipient. Is causing quite the confusion.
After reading others issues, I've noticed that my battery life has drained quite a bit today as well.

May 10, 2013 9:54 PM in response to justajrnyby iiWoodstocK,Try hard resetting. On 6.1.3 I was getting <5 hours of usage. Updated to 6.1.4 and it was roughly still the same until I did a few hard resets. Now I'm getting 8+ hours of use. Not saying this will work for everyone, but for me it definitely made a difference

May 11, 2013 10:51 AM in response to ellbowby Fahyme,I hated!!!
In fact was a terrible idea change to IOS 6.1.4.Nowadays, I a have a big problem: I can't hear well the other person on called, but they can hear me so good.
I hope that Apple solve this problem soon, I'm avoiding do calls because I can't hear.
Totally unhappy with Apple, I never taste something like this when I had Android. -

May 12, 2013 2:18 PM in response to ellbowby chicagobarry,I should post this before Apple releases one of its iOS updates: once you get your iPhone, don't ever update the iOS - no matter what new features are promised. If you do, you are just opening yourself up to a universe of unsolvable problems. This happened with my 3G - the updates made it virtually unusable, so I learned my lesson. Many of us buy Apple products because we trust them to produce superior hardware and reliable software. That has not been the case with iOS for years. If it's any consolation, Android users report many software problems, too.

May 14, 2013 5:39 AM in response to ellbowby diegoquinteroj,Having wifi issue, with iPhone 5 and iPod touch 4g after ios 6.1.4
Just checked on both the devices with all the solutions
1. Reset Network Settings.
2. Hard Reboot
3. Changed the DNS setting for wifi on iPhone
4. Finally restored to factory settings wth old backup.
5. Even tried restoring the phone and setting up as a new iPhone.
Any solution except what all are tried are most welcome.

May 15, 2013 6:06 AM in response to ellbowby JeanGenie13,I'm having similar issues with Iphone 5 and ios 6.1.4.
Specifically, with internet connectivity, whether wifi or 3G. For example, If I use the wifi at work and then get home and want to use my own network, the phone won't connect. It still looks like it's connected, and the wifi is not greyed out in Settings, but email etc won't connect. The only solution I've found so far is rebooting - this week I've had to reboot every day, when usually I got on by never switching the phone off.
I'd really like to roll back to 6.1.3 if this isn't going to get fixed soon. It's very annoying.
