Q: My iTunes won't open?!?!?!?

saying you've tried everything doesn't help much. what have you done so far? is it user-specific or system-wide?

same as me i double click on the iTunes icon and nothing happens. When i had it open it stoped loading and then force quited by its self

Try restarting your Laptop/PC and wait until all programs loaded to your Laptop/ PC maximum waiting time 2 minutes and after 2 minutes try opening the iTunes.

I tried what jamespaulmallon did and it did not work if it doesnt work for you too open the files folder , go to music , click itunes , then click itunes library. if it stoped you in the middle of a download disconnect from your internet and the notifications box should appear saying your action can not be completed then close it reconnect and you are good to go.Note: some songs will appear twice just delete the second one and you and the song should stay there (first one)

Be patient with it. It took like 2 minutes to finally start.

I was also trying desperately to fix this problem with itunes 12.3.1 on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop. Finally the below link helped me!

And the step that worked for me is to "Disable n/w or Disconnect from the internet" and start iTunes. This is kind of silly on Apple. Why can't they fix in iTunes code itself instead of many people trying and struggling to just to start iTunes after install!
