Q: Mac Mini memory upgrade

I have a Mac Mini 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 that came with 4GB of RAM. I want to upgrade to 8GB. Can I put a single 8GB module in a single slot or it's better to put (2) 4GB modules?

I found this 8GB module in Memoryx.com for US$ 59.98, almost half the price if I buy it in Applestore. I think there's no problem if I don't use Apple memory, right?

Mac mini, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 4 GB RAM
