You can try to pull/erase this file:
/Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/adoption.plist
Then reopen the app store, and go to the purchases tab.
If that doesn't work, then you may have to call Applecare.

Contact App Store support. There's a link on the right hand side of the App Store Window. They're the only ones who can sort out account issues.
