Hi,

I'm getting a little bit to frustrated with the services Apple is providing through iCloud.

Today, iCloud ate my documents. My Keynote presentations are lost… forever.

ITunes Match can't match some of my songs, even though they do appear in the iTunes Store.

Why? Nobody knows, Apple moves in mysterious ways, I suppose.

Photostream can't be reset anymore in a decent matter. You have to play some sort of acrobat tric on your MAc and all you iOS devices to clean the mess up.

Thank you Apple for this magnificent service!

Cheers;

Filip

You asked for it with your very specific question.

Oh, I did realize that you wanted a vague, non-specific question. OK, here you go, mister 1305 points:

What's wrong with iCloud. Let's see how you deal with that.

Simple, nothing wrong on my devices, but then I do know a little about how to use it. If you want help, start with photostream and why would you need to reset it. What are you goals? What happens? And once we figure out how to help you, or if that is even possible we can move on to another dog.

Don't get me wrong, I know a little how to use it as well (if worked as an ACSE and evolved with Apple products for the past 20 years), it's just that I bump into the boundaries quiet fast lately.

Of course there is a simple workaround to solve the Photostream dissapearance of the Reset button in icloud.com, but it remains a workaround. 5resetting was very helpful when several devices messed up the library in the cloud).

No one has an answer on the iTunes Match issue (no one here, no one there and no one at Apple), so please don't bother.

And the Documents in the Cloud is a half-half solution that fails way to often (just google iCloud dissappearing files and you'll know).

So all in all, this post was a complaint, and a cry for help.

    Thanks for your reaction

Once again (JMHO), I don't know anything. Lets try to not take anything for granted and I am just going to assume that you are much smarter then me. Lets start with photostream reset button in icloud. What it doesn't (or didn't do) is  allowing you syncing backwards, just was resetting server. You do not really need to actually reset server, since you can reset every individual device by turning off the photostream, and you can also edit pictures individually. Hence that button may not exist anymore. Need a reset of the server just - reset device that you have problem with by turning off photostream and back on and that particular device is back in buisness. Resetting of the server would accomplish something if it was Photosync, but it is not - it is stream (by definition is working from now on, but does not sync before). So get back to techincal support vs complains that apple s u   cks forum - WHAT is the problem with photostream?

Same way what is the particular problem with match?

    Documents?

And if you really feel that I can't help, hey I have my limits and apple does make it hard sometimes.
