Ensure the headphone socket is clean no fluff or similar and the plug pushed all the way in when inserted
have you tried another pair of headphones to isolate the issue to the iPhone or earpods
The Earpods are covered by the 12 month warranty of the iPhone 5

i tried my old headphones and both left and right worked perfectly,
and yes they are clean they came in the box with the problem!!
i never used them because of this ><
is there any thing i can do to fix it
or i've to buy a new one ?
