I purchased a Cables to Go USB to serial adapter. Installed the drivers (Prolific 2303) . Went into the network settings and added the USB to Serial device. The one issue I am having is that it looks like it keeps wanting to dial a modem in the settings. I dont want to do that I need to use the USB to Serial cable to console into a network switch. Also I downloaded Z Term. I think if the network setting were right and not looking for a modem it would work. Any help is mych appreciated. Thanks,

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
