Sorry, you are going to lose quality. Mainly because FCP 5 is very old, and doesn't have a nice, full raster 10-bit easy to manage codec. You could use Uncompressed 10-bit...but none of your drives could play that back without serious lag or skipping.
FCP 5...your best bet is DVCPRO HD. That's the codec of choice for that version. It's lossy, but what you have to work with.

Thanks Shane. What about the pixel shape and resolution. Shoudl I go with DVCPRO standard or change them to match the iphones 1920 x 18080 square? Also I was reading about the apple intermediate codec. Should I choose that after choosing DVCPRO HD in compressor?

DVCPRO HD is 1280x1080...it isn't full raster. If you try to make it so...it won't be real time in FCP.
Apple Intermediate might be better in this case. It's lossy too...but at least it's full raster. Try both.
