My camera flash makes my pics look horrible. Why is this happening? I had a galaxy s2 before I switched to the iPhone and now I'm wishing I would have stuck with the Samsung products.

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.4

You are probably using the flash for the wrong photos. Try not to use it on anything shiny or reflective of course. Also, if it makes your pictures look faded, you can press the edit button (top right corner when viewing a photo) and do an auto enhance. i will admit I am a little OCD and feel the need to auto-enhance literally every picture I take because it looks so pretty. You can even crop out any shiny spots you don't need or fix the greaded red eye you get from the flash. And always remeber, you can turn the flash off at any time by prssing the buton in the top left corner when in the camera that should normally say "auto". Happy snapping!

Thank you for choosing Apple (and not Samsung).

If you have a case on your phone take it off.

Also, I see your profile says you have in iPhone 4S running iOS 6.1.4 which is impossible because that update was an iPhone 5-only patch. Easy mistake many beginners will make though.

Yes I must admit I should've waited for the iPhone 5. The one thing they really touched upon in the camera was better qualitry low-light photo taking (and I guess they made the camera out of badass saphire because glass was too mainsteam). Only six months to go now.

Glad it helped. There are plenty of cases with wider openings around the camera.

Let me tell you one of the best things that comes with getting an iPhone are the gigantic selections of cases. If you are into fashion, there is always a case that can match you.
