Q: When I sync iphone to itunes, only the songs purchased from itunes get synced. Songs imported from CDs don't. How to fix this?

When I sync iphone to itunes, only the songs purchased from itunes get synced. Songs imported from CDs don't. How to fix this?

I am able to sync all songs to ipod. However I see this problem only with iphone 4S.
