Q: How to connect other devices to airport express after agreeing to the hotel charges on my macbook air how do I connect my other devices without agreeing to hotel charges again

I connect my MacBook Air to my airport express wirelessly and agree to hotel charges then I want to add other devices to my in room airport express network but the ipad and iphone keep asking me to agree to the hotel charges again. What am I doing wrong?

    You need to connect the Airport Express to the hotel's Internet then connect all of your devices.  I am not sure if you will be able to access the hotel wireless network via the Airport Utility.

    Check the setting on the AirPort Express for Router Mode.  You do not want it to be "Off (Bridge Mode)"

     

    You do want it to be a Router Mode of "DHCP and NAT".  Unfortunately, some hotels will not allow you connect this way. You will have to try it out and see.

     

    Worst case, call the hotel desk and tell them that you have several wireless devices and you only want to pay for one connection. If they value you as a guest, they will only charge you for one connection.

    this did not work so I put the settings back

    As I mentioned earlier, some hotels will not allow you connect the AirPort in DHCP and NAT mode. That is unfortunate, but at least you tried.
