why can't i update my apps under my apple ID

I used to use my friends apple id and password to download and update apps but recently i got my own apple id and password and i signed in to download appa and update some of my apps and it works perfectly when i download apps buut right when i go to update my apps and it asks for my password, the id comes up as my friends but i want it as my id. how do i change it. this problem is only for when i am trying to update but when i download apps it comes up as my id but when i update and i wnat to put the password, it comes up as my friends id. PLEASE help me, how do i change the id when i am updating to my id . thanks you

i also have heard that i need to delete all my apps and then download them under my name and then if there is a update it will come up as my id but i have 120 apps and i  can't do that,. please give me another way

    Sorry, your going to have to delete those apps and sign out of the App Store. Go to App Store on your iPod -> scroll down to the bottom -> tap the Apple ID and press sign out. Then, redownload the apps and play.

    - Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.

    - To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account.
