Thanks, Bob. How do I go about adding roaming network correctly? I want to gain wi-fi in the basement where my H/T is. My router is on 2nd floor and have a very good signal on 1st & 2nd floors but not in basement and don't want to lessen signal on 1st & 2nd floor.

We need to know the model numbers of both routers.......located on the bottom or side of the AirPort......beginning with the letter "A" followed by 4 numbers.

We also need to know what operating system you are using on the Mac or PC that will be used to configure the devices.

The main router on the 2nd floor is already set up and working correctly.....is that correct?

You have run CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cabling from a LAN <-> port on the second floor router to the proposed location of the basement router.......and have tested it to make sure that it is working correctly....is that correct?
