Q: How do I determine what is causing Screen pixilating and jumping on my G5

I have an IMAC-G5 that is now causing problems. Screen is pixilating, vibrating and freezing. Any ideas on repairs?

I advise you take it to the apple store, often things like this are no easy fix and can be caused by many things, faulty wiring, dust, overheating, simple parts malfunctioning. I am no expert but I recommend that you use a vacuum to check for dust, if it does not run on SSD but HDD make sure the fans all work and keep it elevated you can also look for obvious problems.

Thanks for the advice. Prior to receiving it I did a search through Google and came up with reference to capacitors leaking as possible problem. Called the Apple Store and they referred me to local partner. Their they opened back of G5 and found that to be case. Seeking replacement capacitors now. Thanks for trying to help.
