Hi!

So I bought Borderlands 2 on steam and I downloaded it to the windows partition of my computer. I've been experiencing a lot of lag and choppiness. After searching around on the internet a lot of people found a solution to the lag by updating their motherboard Bios. Apparently, their motherboard Bios was outdate. I was wondering what is the mac equivalent to updating this because I'd really like to fix the lag I've been experiencing with borderlands.

Intel-based Macs use EFI, included also in new PCs. To check that you are using the latest EFI version for your computer, start in OS X and run Software Update. Install all updates, and if you have a EFI update, install it. Connect your computer to its charger. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1237

Have you installed Boot Camp drivers on your Windows partition? They are needed to make Windows run correctly, and if you haven't installed them, you might have problems. Start in OS X, open Boot Camp Assistant (in /Applications/Utilities) and download the Windows support software on a DVD or USB drive
