the computer it beeps, no screen light up or anything. It is a 27 inch Late 2009

Maximum Memory 16 GB Memory Slots 4 - 204-pin PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM This link, How to remove or install memory, will provide the source to how to install RAM in your model to be sure you do it properly. The modules need to be pressed fairly hard to assure they are properly seated.

specs. They are 4 GB each and DDR3, 1066Mhz and not sure where to read 204 pins or the PC3-8500 part.
