I have windows 7 64bit installed with Bootcamp 4. Does it make any sense to upgrade to Bootcamp 5 since i will continue using win7?

I mean, does bootcamp 5 supports better windows 7 also? I know there are some issues with drivers and the general behavior of apple hardware, that are very annoying (e.g. automatic graphic switch don't work), and it would nice to solve them.

Boot Camp does not really support running Windows after it has been installed. If you were to do anything at this point it might be to install the new Boot Camp 5 drivers, however, the major changes are for Windows 8 support.

If Win7 is working for you, then it would be best to leave well enough alone.

Your issues are not with the Boot Camp 4 drivers from Apple, but with your Windows installation unless you never installed the drivers. But even then the problems you are having are truly Windows related. Get your Windows installation fixed, reinstall the Boot Camp 4 drivers. Boot Camp 5 won't help you.
