Q: I purchased a pre-order album on itunes and I can't download it.

I preordered an album on itunes and paid for it.  I got an email saying it was available for download, however, it doesn't show up in my purchases.  Any idea how to download my album??

I have a similar problem: I had this problem in relation to the "password not remembered" issue in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2167066 but resolved by "reset itunes Cache: in prefs->Advanced.  I still have this problem, but in pre-ordered Seasons Passes.  In more detail:

(I hope the editor doesn't butcher my indented number-list)

    1. iTunes 11.0.3(42)  (released a few days before Towel Day?)

        1.1 prefs->Store->"Download pre-orders when available" is checked

    2. Store-> Check for available downloads

    3. "All purchases have been downloaded for this Apple ID" (I only use one apple ID for purchases)
    4. Browse in ITMS to the content (Grimm Season 2)

    5. see that there is a new episode

5.1 most episodes have a "downloaded" button

5.2 the new episode has a "download" button

    6. clicking the "download" causes the download to come without any problem

iTMS understands I have purchased it and it's waiting for me, but neither "Download pre-orders when available" nor "Check for available downloads" finds the new content.

    Any ideas?

    Additional notes:
    1. http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3688 (Troubleshooting Automatic Downloads for purchased Apps, Music, and Books) doesn't help

    2. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4539 (enable automatic downloads) already done
    3. http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12282 (iTunes 11.0 auto-download on multiple devices) adds no value to http://support.apple.com/kb/PH1707 (iTunes 10.0 version) nor to this issue

    4. https://discussions.apple.com/message/12212774 is a red-herring
    5. reset download queue) doesn't seem to pertain: Apps download just fine

    6. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5731 (download options) doesn't apply

Per support issue # 272099359, "Daryl" writes " New release episodes from a season pass will no longer be showing on the check for available downloads, that's the new changed from the recent iTunes version."

We are suggested to use the link http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html to voice any opinion about this change.  In short:

Apple doesn't feel we need to see our new episodes from seasons passes; they removed that feature.

If you're not pertaining to Seasons passes, then your part of the feature may still work.
