Can GarageBand do Exclusive Solo between tracks (where when you solo a track all other tracks are muted)?  I can only seem to get it to do Non-Exclusive Solo (other solo'd tracks stay solo'd).  If it can't do Exclusive Solo, it makes it very difficult to compare 2 tracks in time, as most other programs can do.

no, you have to un-solo other tracks to not hear them

Or to mute the other solo tracks. Then they will keep their "Solo" status.

while all the solo buttons and all the mute buttons work as checkBox style buttons amoung themselves, they work as radio buttons with each other.

iow, if you mute a track it becomes unsoloed; a track can not be soloed and muted at the same time

You are right, HangTime. I did not notice, that it toggles the "Solo" off, too bad. I just checked, if the "Mute" works on a solo track,; indeed it works, the track is muted, but no longer solo.
