Q: iCalendar error message 403: access not permitted

I keep getting a error message saying:

"The server responded with an error: Access to a certain account in "iCloud" is not permitted. The server responded: "403" to operation CalDAVWriteEntryQueueable Operation."

Then I have the option to "Ignore" "Try Again" or "Revert to Server" and none of those options work or correct the problem.

Help!  Thanks so much!

There's a problem on the server, which may or may not be related to something you did. Contact Apple.

    Now, I can't use "Calender".....

it freezes (with the above mentioned dialogue windows) whenever I open the app, .....

    ..... force quit  ...... reopen ...... freeze ....... a loop forever!

When I open Calender I get a message saying, "The Server Responded with an Error. The request for account “iCloud” failed.  The server responded with “403” to operation CalDAVAddCalendarQueueableOperation."

Are you trying to move, change or add something to Sunday, March 9, before 11 AM?  I am, too.  Everything is 1 hour later on iCloud than my local calendar.  Go to iCloud in a browser and compare the times of events Sunday morning before 11 to your local calendar.

I bet that it has something to do with Daylight Savings Time, since it changes to DST on March 9 this year.

Try moving or changing something outside that time period (after 11 AM or to another day).  If that works, then I think my theory is right.  Call Apple and tell them that so they will hopefully fix this problem.  I will too.  If enough people call them, they are more likely to fix it.

For some reason, I can't edit or update my previous comment, so here's my UPDATE:

I was just on the phone for about an hour with Apple about this.  They've sent all the info to the engineering dept. to hopefully get this problem fixed.  I'm guessing it will happen twice a year if they don't fix it.
