May 26, 2013 11:11 AM in response to Natashafromksby Courcoul,★HelpfulDid you recently upgrade the iPad to version 6 of its iOS operating system?
And, are you also using a Mac with Mountain Lion 10.8 as its OS X operating system?
If the answer is yes to both, you will indeed think that the iPad feels like a Mac or vice versa. Due to unfanthomable decisions in Apple's Engineering and Management, iOS 6.x and OS X 10.8 share many common interface elements and behavior. That's just the way it is. But rest assured that your iPad is running bona-fide iOS. Furthermore, if your answer to the first question was YES, that's the way it is going to be for now: there is no way to downgrade the iOS in a mobile device.

May 27, 2013 1:44 PM in response to Courcoulby Natashafromks,I Have no clue about either of ur questions I don't remember it being updated to iOS 6. I know it was right around that time this happened but nt sure if mine just started acting like Mac before they came out w IOS 6. Know I was running the most updated one right before they changed to IOS 6. Is there a way to get this stupid Mac software or whatever it is off my iPad and go back to just iOS 6 without paying for all those apps to get ios6

May 27, 2013 1:47 PM in response to Natashafromksby stedman1,At some point you will need to tell us what the real issue is. Maybe what operating system you have? What isn't working for you?

May 27, 2013 1:57 PM in response to Natashafromksby Ralph9430,Your iPad will only run a version of the iOS. It will not run Mac software. So please explain exactly what is happening that you think is not correct.

May 29, 2013 8:35 PM in response to Natashafromksby Ralph9430,Seems like your iPad is completely messed up. Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.
