Doing an update to Tip Calculator Free about two weeks ago. It says "installing" but it is just stuck. I can't find the app to delete and can't find a way to restart the update. It's just frozen saying "installing"

    Hi navengler,

Sorry you are having issues with your Tip Calculator app.

The instructions below will show you how to delete the app from your iPhone and redownload it:

iOS: Troubleshooting applications purchased from the App Store

    6. Reinstall the affected application

Remove the application from your device and reinstall it.

    1. Touch and hold any application icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle.
    2. Tap the "x" in the corner of the application you want to delete.
    3. Tap Delete to remove the application and all of its data from your device.
    4. Press the Home button.
    5. Go to the App Store.
    6. Search for the application and then download it again.

Note: If it is a paid app, ensure you are using the iTunes account you purchased the app with originally. If it is not, you will be charged for the app again. For more information regarding downloading previously purchased items, see this article.

    I hope this helps ...

    Have a great day!

    - Judy

I am having the same problem with 24 apps. Do I need to delete each one and download them again. I tried this with the first and it just deleted that one and now all the rest are still stuck "installing"

The easiest way is for you to dowload the apps to iTunes on your computer and sync the phone.
