Hi, I've recently upgraded to a new mac (Mountian Lion) and want to run my old applications. I tried migration assistant and that ran Logic Studio fine but I had deleted a lot of logic stuff from my old macbook as it was a piece of crap, (I paid a lot of money for logic studio 8 4 years ago but never properly saw use for it as my mac sucked but now with a new one want to give it a proper run) So I installed the whole thing from clean using Pacifist (which took 4 days to move all the files into place) And whilst it was doing that Logic Pro open and ran fine but now the instillation is finished it crashes a soon as I click the button. Everyhere I look online says it's either completely impossible or that it is possible to install, but why can't I run it!

I understand it may be a 32bit vs 64bit thing, but as I say it was running fine before the clean install. I don't have the money for the upgrade to logic pro 9 and as I said I never gave 8 a real chance.

Any help would be wonderful thank you

Did you update Logic to the latest version 8.0.2)?
