Q: Can you please help?

Hello, I have an apple Ibook it's a Mac OS X, version 10.4.11, processor 500 MHz powerPC g3, memory 320 mb sdram.  I also have a Cisco wireless router from the company UPC in Ireland, but the mac/ibook won't let me connect to my wireless. I have typed in the correct password and in caps lock (which is required) but it still won't connect ?

    Hello,

If your using the Airport card installed in the iBook and your trying to connect to a wireless network with an encryption type WPA2, it will not work. Most new modern wireless routers come pre-set as WPA2.

You would need to change the wireless encryption to WEP in order to connect your iBook G3.

To do this consult your wireless router manual, for the settings.
