Q: When prompted for password to purchase it does not take

Trying to purchase a TV show and the sign in box pops in with my ID name correct and a blank password box, after filling in the correct password and clicking the Buy box it disapears then comes back asking the same thing. If I use the wrong or older passward it says wrong password. As many times as you like it will continue the loop with no confirmation of purchase.

 

Any other suggestions?

    I'm currently having the same problem, no matter what I do I cannot purchase anything on iTunes store on my laptop, yet purchases done from my iphone or ipad are fine.  It just keeps asking me for my password.

     

    I'm wondering if this is an issue related to the latest itunes update as this hadn't started happening until then.

    iTunes Bug: you download a song or movie from itunes, you listen to the song or watch the movie, then go back to the store to make another purchase, but it keeps asking for password, over and over and over and over and over.

     

    Solution: Close iTunes. Open iTunes back up. you should have no problem making your purchase now.
