May 30, 2013 5:21 AM in response to Pete-Rby blackdogaudio,Make sure after disabling Norton this didn't re-enable your Windows firewall. If it did, check your Windows firewall settings and make sure Migration Assistant is allowed to pass through.

Decided it wasn't going to work and have started transferrring files "manually" instead. It will take a few days but I can see what's happening at each stage. Not a good start to becoming a Mac user!
